Do you write? Then read this.

A lot of people who I know read my blog have either written books or have active manuscripts ready to go to the next level... whatever that is.

If you fit into this group, or are just thinking about writing a book, then please read these 19 tips entitled "Advice for authors" from the omniscient Seth Godin.

This list accurately sums up the current book publishing environment, its obstacles, and some interesting opportunities provided by that one-stop-shop-for-seemingly-everything: the World Wide Web!

Here's tip #19, just to get you interested in the previous ones:

"Writing a book is a tremendous experience. It pays off intellectually. It clarifies your thinking. It builds credibility. It is a living engine of marketing and idea spreading, working every day to deliver your message with authority. You should write one."
