Herb

Excellent post. Your haiku has me suddenly craving all three. There are few things finer than cleansing the pallet with pickled ginger after savoring spicy scallop sushi with a dab of wasabi.

gautami

Your haiku has me wanting more.

Paris Parfait

These are fabulous haiku! The second one reminds me a dish prepared by Ethiopian friends. I took one bite and my mouth was on fire. I drank an entire glass of water. But I love spicy foods.

Tammy

These were fabulous and I loved you using a spring rain and snow. A perfect spicy combination and I love wasabi!

Thank you, sweet thang you :) XXOO

KG

Herb — Wasabi and ginger. Enough said. ;)

gautami — Your comment has inspired me to pick out a few more spices and write some more haiku.

Paris Parfait — Thank you! I would love to know what spice in the Ethiopian food caused such fire.

Tammy — Hello, Daily Warrior! Thanks for enjoying all the spice. xxoo

Kristin -

Those were great! ;)

Wasabi will clear your sinuses -- instantly!

habanero's flame
torrents of free flowing tears
ice cream in summer

I enjoyed your post... thank you!

KG,
I see that your talent at haiku hasn't abated. Your words are tangy ang bring memories of firey culinary encounters of the past.
If you ever encounter "Dave's Insanity Sauce"...remember, one drop or less. ;-)

Hi Rob — Thanks for dropping by and adding your own spicy haiku to the mix.

rel — Yes, one drop or less...I have that burned into my memory.

Tempest

"Hmmm - where's the nearest Japanese restaurant around here?"

KG

Tempest — Exactly.

Photoplasia

Lovely haiku...

Nice photo, too.
