KG - it was fun walking 10 feet this morning to find this! I do wish there was a Starbucks within one mile, however...

Used to straphang. But it sucked!

My commute: Coffee, couch, baby, boob.

Books and buses, grad school salvation.

Steve — I hear you about the Starbucks. One recently opened relatively nearby. People around here are so excited, you'd think they'd never bought coffee at a store before. The locals (myself included) cannot stop talking about it!

Ann — LOL! I used to straphang, too, and I do agree with you.

Rachel — Yeah! Another telecommuter weighs in...and a work-at-home mama, at that. :)

Laura — "Grad school salvation" — you have packed a lot into that phrase, and it made me pause. Thank you for this.

Hello and welcome!

  • My name is Kristin Gorski. I recently earned my doctorate (EdD) in instructional technology and media. My research focuses on technology and literacies, writing in digital spaces, and how media literacy may support academic literacy (among other incredibly interesting topics). On occasion, I’m also a freelance writer and editor. “Write now is good.” is my personal blog about writing, creativity and inspiration (with healthy doses of technology in relevant places). I started it in blogging's heyday (2006) and still post to it, time permitting.
