Hilarious, frightening and true. Writer and author Dennis Cass captures so much about book promotion in the Internet age in his video "Book Launch 2.0". He skewers both the trials many authors must go through in doing full PR for their own books, and the abundant-yet-confusing social media tools out there to help in the process (supposedly).
Enjoy.
Thanks to Chris Glass for this gem.
I love this video. Second time I've seen it, and its just as good as the first time.
While being funny and depricating, it also manages to be informative and make me kind of want to read this guys books. :-)

Hey Johnny (B.) — Cass has discovered a very workable formula: his video is easy to watch repeatedly, it is funny/depricating/informative (like you said), and it is a fantastic promotional vehicle. It works without being too over the top — a nice example of viral video, also. It doesn't look like it cost too much to make either. Fellow authors should take note.
